Kendall Coffey Comments on the Caylee Anthony Homicide Case
One of the worst legal issues of 2008, Kendall Coffey comments on his webpage on the Caylee Anthony homicide case. In June 2008, three year-old Caylee was reported missing near Orlando, Florida. Her erratic mother, Casey, didn’t testify anything until a succession of odd and conflicting details. She was charged with first degree murder.
After a month of custody, Casey was arrested again on the 29th of August 2008, on alleges of forgery, fraud, and theft for forging $700 worth of checks and using her friend’s credit cards without approval. On the 14th of October 2008, she was accused by the grand jury on charges of first-degree murder and detained for the fourth time.
“The judge denied a gag order, finding that no ruling could prevent the floodtide of publicity engulfing a case in which the jury will soon decide whether Casey Anthony is only a liar or something far worse,” said Kendall Coffey. At present, Casey Anthony is in the Orange County Jail, and waiting for her 2010 trial.
With over 30 years of experience, Kendall Coffey is an accomplished attorney who finished with honors during bachelors at the University of Florida. Coffey also earned his Juris Doctor with top honors in law school.
