Late Night, Early Morning Wake Ups
The sound of the babies cry is like a foghorn in the night. It is just something that you cant ignore, and must tend to… but whey do you do when its two thirty in the morning. Its not like you can ignore it and go back to bed. I have tried that tactic, just pretending to be sleeping in hopes that my wife will get up and get her. Unfortunately she is doing the same thing, and women have much better patience than we. So it wills us that have to do the deed. But the thing is that ignoring the baby, is just what we should do.
Babies do some really strange things in their sleep. I have, on more than one occasion, seen my baby rolling around, and on all fours, rocking back and forth… all in her sleep. They do some really strange things. Let them cry, if it’s more than fifteen or twenty minutes then go in and calm them down. But if you can tell that the baby is in pain or distress, go in right away. Just be quiet and keep the lights low, you don’t want the kid to think that its wake up time.
